Scholarships & Grants

The United Daughters of the Confederacy was incorporated greater than 125 years ago, having one of its objectives being to assist descendants of worthy Confederates in securing proper education.

Today, the Texas Division continues to provide scholarships and grants to lineal and collateral descendants of worthy Confederates who are seeking education and training beyond the high school level.

Applicants must provide documents to prove lineage and honorable service of Confederate Ancestor.

Scholarships and grants may be available through individual Chapters and Districts – contact a UDC chapter near you.

Scholarships are also available from the General Organization of the UDC.  See the General UDC website for more information.
